Do you know anyone who would like to learn more about the Catholic Church? Do you know anyone who has expressed an interest in joining the Catholic Faith? If so, RCIA is the way to go.
RCIA stands for Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults. RCIA in for those unbaptized, those baptized in another Christian Faith, or for those baptized Catholic but have not received the Sacraments of Eucharist and Confirmation.
RCIA meets weekly, beginning in September. Each session focuses on an aspect of the Catholic Faith. Our pastoral staff and a dedicated team of parishioners coordinate the process. RCIA concludes on Holy Saturday with baptism and admission to the faith.
Please share this information about St Charles RCIA with those you think might be interested. Those who join the RCIA process each year are drawn from non-Catholics who have been married to a Catholic spouse, those non-Catholics engaged to a Catholic, or family and friends of Catholics.
No long-term commitment is requested at this time -- just "come and see."
If interested, or for more information, please contact Fr Joshua Cochrac or Deacon Dan Galla at the Parish Office (440-884-3030).
RCIA is designed for adults who, after hearing the mystery of Christ proclaimed, consciously and freely seek the living God and enter the way of faith and conversion as the Holy Spirit opens their hearts. The importance of RCIA is not simply “joining the Catholic Church.” By exploring the teachings of the Church, and experiencing St. Charles faith community’s dedication to living and growing in Christ together, we pray that a person’s heart will be opened to, and remain rooted in, the loving grace of God.
